Gotta be from the '60s when all the muscle cars were coming out. Not sure which brand specifically, but absolutely one of those.

I'd say Pontiac, 1969 in particular.

After a bit of specific Google-fu, I'd say '86. Last year of the CJ7 & Scrambler, with the XJ (which I love) a couple years into its run, and the Wagoneer. None of this little sissy Compass shit.

Well, currently their sibling brand, Dodge. Because 707 hp in a $60k is the stuff dreams are made of. That's one. Dodge in 1970 had a great line-up as well, with the Challenger Hemi, the Super Bee, the Charger Hemi, the Coronet R/T Hemi, the Power Wagon, the Demon, etc.

this was just about the year I was looking at myself. Plus the 1st year of the Comanche, J trucks were still being made a few more years. Plus you could get a diesel XJ. all kinds of great stuff still there

Shit, I forgot all about the Comanche. Another point in 1986's column.

The holy trinity.
1987-1988. Each of them a legend in it's own right.

Theoretically, if they would take the Easter Jeep line-up for any of the last few years and build all of them, THAT would be legendary.
This was the best year from recent memory:

Yes, but Jeep has been passed around a few times, so it's still a Jeep.
